Editorial & Portrait Photographer
I am an editorial and portrait photographer based between New York City and Northern New Jersey, working on assignments throughout the United States and internationally.
My career began in journalism and photography, covering people, events, and stories for newspapers, magazines, radio, and television. That experience continues to shape how I see the world and approach photography today.
My work is rooted in observation. I am interested in people, their environments, and the small details that reveal something about who they are. Rather than constructing every element of an image, I look for authentic expressions, natural gestures, and the relationship between a subject and the space around them.
Over the years, my professional experience has extended into advertising, visual communication, and creative direction, including more than two decades in marketing and brand development. This background has given me a broader understanding of visual storytelling and the role photography plays in communicating ideas, identity, and culture.
I work with both film and digital photography, using available light and controlled studio lighting depending on the subject and the story. My practice includes editorial portraiture, documentary projects, and select commercial assignments.
Alongside commissioned work, I pursue independent photographic stories exploring human connection, identity, memory, and the relationship between people and places.
I hold a BA in Studio Art and Photography from The City College of New York, CUNY.
Available for editorial, documentary, portrait, and select commercial assignments in New York, New Jersey, and internationally.
